Happily stay here again…simple and value for money
Wanted somewhere inexpensive to stay in the old town. This was the cheapest place on Hotels.com and had good reviews. I would recommend staying here to anyone who isn’t worried about their room being perfect. Instead they are happy with somewhere simple and good value for money. I would happily stay here again. Great location in the old town a short/shortish walk from everything you want to see.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in , in Turkey. Everything was not functioning well. The bathroom door was hitting the toilet bowl and there was no curtains for the shower area. The breakfast was very bad and limited to one plate per person. It was arranged by the person in the kitchen. The only person that was helpful was the daytime manager and he took care of us. Also, I was told of the free parking but it was a very limited space and I was having a difficult time getting into the parking space. Also the place does not look clean and it needs a lot of maintenance work.

Grand Babil Otel is excellent value and very comfortable - although the double rooms are VERY small. The airconditioning is perfect for the Urfa heat and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially in letting us use the kitchen to make meals. It's a very convenient position - all major attractions within easy walking distance, as well as local supermarkets and a large mall. I would recommend the Grand Babil Otel to anyone traveling to Urfa.

Otele girdiğimiz andan itibaren resepsiyondaki görevli beyefendi bizlere çok yardımcı oldu. Güleryüzlüydü. Fakat hijyen konusunda otel sınıfta kaldı diyebilirim. Yastık kılıfları ve nevresimler temiz değildi. Bir terlik eksikti ve birkaç kez istememize rağmen getirilmedi. Ekstra havlu istedik ve gelen havlu kirliydi. Ayrıca gece çok üşüdük. Odadaki tek ısıtıcı olan klima düzgün ısıtmıyordu. Onun dışında çalışanlardan yana bir problemimiz olmadı. Kendilerinden memnun kaldık.

Resepsiyondaki Mahmut Bey güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Urfaya ilk gelişimizdi çok yardımcı oldu. Otel genel anlamda iyidi. Konforlu ve ortamda otantikti. Temizliği idare eder ama kahvaltı kesinlikle yeterli değildi. Konum açısından merkezi bi konuma sahip. Balıklı göl ve çarṣıya yürüme mesafesinde.

musa bey çok iyiydi kaç kez gittim tercih ettiğim bi otel temizliği daha güzel olabilir geçen seneden beri kötü koku durumu var hâlâ bazı odalarında bazı klimalar odaları güzel ısıtmıyor camlar bazı odalarda açılmıyor bazı odalarda sandalye eksikliği var yani genel anlamada güzel fakat bu eksiklikler giderilirse eminim daha güzel bir ortam ve daha müşteri memnuniyeti sağlarlar

Bir otelden beklenen ilk şey temizlik ve hijyen olmalı geri kalan birçok şey tölere edilebilir. Ancak ailecek kaldığımız bu otelde tüm çarşaflar ve nevresim takımı nemliydi. Resepsiyon da gece görevli arkadaş elinden geleni yapmaya çalıştı ancak yerine getirdiği çarşaflar ve nevresim takımları da hem nemli hemde kirliydi. Kahvaltı çok vasattı. Fotoğraflarda taş otel gibi bir izlenim var ancak oda ve alan kazanmak için o kadar fazla ekleme yapmışlar ki fotoğraflar ile gerçeğin neredeyse alakası kalmamış. Otel bildiğiniz gece kondudan bozma bir hale bürünmüş. Otelin bize göre tek bir artısı vardı o da konumu idi.

Tatlı dil yılanı deliğinden çıkarır. Turkish atasözü. İnsanlar iyi davranınca ortam güzelleşiyor. Temizlik konusunda sadece nevresim ve çarşaflara biraz fazla dikkat edilmesi şart. Fiyat ve konuma göre ideal. Ailecek rahatlıkla kalınabilir. Teşekkür ederim.

Nice place good location
The person at the reception when I arrived was so kind, nice, and helpful with a smiling face all the time. The room was good clean and big enough. But there was no window, its totally closed and only outside contact is the door. Was a little bit hardfor me because the lightining in the room was alao not good. I mean because of its nature (old stone house renovated) it was cool when the weather is +40 C, and being totally shaded is helpful but if it was a longer stay I wouldnt stay in that room as no window and you only see the walls. The lights were really dim. Besides, the location is good, calm not close to central traffic or daily noises but close enough to walk center and historic places. There was breakfast included our stay but bevause they start very late we couldnt have breakfast. The time for brekfast should have been longer and starts earlier.
