"We had a little issue with checking in but after about 20 minutes we were able to get in. There was no receptionist so it was a bit confusing. Make sure you fill out passport information prior to arrival so they can send you code to get in. Short walk to all the sightseeing and museums… 711/ family mart is very close to grab coffee and snacks. Laundry service is nearby but i could not find the address to type in into gps so i had to follow instructions provided in the booklet … it would’ve been helpful to have the address of this place written too. Great location! Check out nearby sports bar BLKS they are very friendly there!! I felt so welcomed."

"Excellent property. Newer building in a very safe area. Didn’t have any fears walking even at night. Very clean rooms. Stayed in the family suite as we have 2 kids. Worked perfect. Kids had their own room and beds. Rooms were large compared to other places we have stayed in Japan. Fantastic bathroom set up. Good amenities including toiletries, PJs and slippers however no washing machine. There is a laundromat within walking distance which was easy and quick plus no need for laundry soap. Check in and out was a seamless process. There is a public-pay parking lot across the street which was convenient as we rented a car. Great restaurant nearby, recommend checking out Meli-Melo and Okonomiyaki Mitsu! Easy walk to Peace Memorial Park and tram nearby. Highly recommend."

"What a gem of a hotel! The vibe is much of a boutique hotel. Our room was big compared to other Japanese hotels in this price range. We had three large twin beds which allowed our family to stay in 1 room. There was a sitting area with couches. There was a separate kitchenette with microwave and stove. Then there was a washing machine in a separate room with detergent -- what a godsend, as it was unexpected yet needed. There were free room amenities in the lobby including toiletries and coffee/ tea. Unexpectedly, as the lobby is NOT manned, there was a cable lock system where you could secure your baggage should you want to sight see after you checked out. Just 1 caveat that I missed when reserving -- there are no staff persons in this hotel. And I didn't get an email for the code you need to: 1. enter the complex 2. register 3. get the lock combo to enter your room. Initially anxiety provoking BUT called the " contact property" link on the Expedia reservation and they walked me through the process easily. Screen shot the codes when you check in! You'll need them. It is not walking distance to the train station but so close to the Memorial park and the ferry to Miyajima Island which is why we chose this hotel. I met the owner of the hotel - clearly the property reflects her kindness and grace. So happy we stayed here but make sure you have the email before arriving."
