"We loved our stay at this beautifully designed hotel. The views are amazing, the food and wine are delicious, and best of all, the owners Monica and Rodrigo, and the staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Chiloé is definitely worth a visit, and the Estancia is in a fantastic location with lots to see and do. Even though we were only there for a couple of days, we still managed to visit Castro, hike in the national park, and take a boat trip to see the penguins at Punihuil on our way back to Chile. We really hope we’re lucky enough to come back one day. We need more pisco sour!"

"Wonderful location, secure parking and super friendly staff. Walking distance to all the sights of Castro. Warning if you plan to arrive into Castro after 6pm the traffic is dreadful!!"

"Did not like ground floor rooms, no view, no air, no paint on walls or carpet on floor, thin walls, very noisy 😞 Higher floor had better views and were more spacious. Restaurants had little choice, having run out of most choices we made."

"This is such a great, cosy place with wonderful, friendly staff. We ended up here at the last minute due to other lodging falling through, and they were super accomodating, getting us checked in early. The rooms are a good size with charming wood-trunk & plank furniture, and the bathrooms are super modern and up to date. The rooms have lovely views of the water (we started in one and shifted to the bigger room on our 2nd night). The breakfast was robust and they serve dinner if you don't want to head into town. If I had friends in the area, I'd absolutely recommend Cumbres!"
