Paso retreat

Beautiful house with an amazing view. Wildlife all around, just a wonderful place to stay. Close to the wineries and downtown but far away enough to have plenty of privacy.

Get away from it all in Paso Robles

We had a lovely stay at the Vista Vine Cottage. It is up in the beautiful San Miguel hills surrounded by farmland. Just peaceful and beautiful. Very comfortable. Only wish we could stay there longer . . . or when it is warmer so we could enjoy the patio with the view.

Great experience

This was one of the best homes I have stayed in. It was very clean and cozy. My family and I loved the area, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The home is was fully stocked with all the necessities; linens, dishes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

Family weekend getaway

We come out to Paso for a quick family getaway before the school year starts. The house was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us to relax after a day at the waterpark. The check in and check out was very easy and detailed and clear. We will beback again!

Beautiful Views

Our family spent a weekend together as our youngest graduated from Cal Poly. The house was well stocked and we cooked most meals there. The view from the backyard was gorgeous! We ate outside enjoying the view and the weather. It was nice for all of us to be able to stay together. We would definitely stay here again.

RE: Peaceful Relaxation

We absolutely loved this property. It's out of town and off a gravel road. Beautiful rolling hills and lots of wildlife. The backyard is perfect for relaxing, reading, grilling or having a party. Lots of birds, quail and rabbits to keep you company. Evenings are so beautiful as the sun sets. Morning coffee on the patio was just perfect and it's so quiet and peaceful. The place was clean and comfortable. Good internet and TV. Kitchen was fully functional. Even a garage to park in with laundry. Absolutely perfect for chilling and hitting some wineries. We will be returning for a longer stay next time.

Perfect Friendsgiving Vacation!

Friends and I thought it’d be fun to do a friendly, personal wine tasting so Paso was our destination of choice. The cottage is located in a nicely remote area, behind a few vineyards with a gorgeous sunrise and sunset view from the back patio. Navigating the road to the cottage was a bit tough, but we definitely got used to it— definitely recommend not traveling in and out when it starts to get dark (which was tough for us because of Daylight Savings). Perfectly located by so many wineries featuring some great local selections and food.

Friends in the Vineyards

The house was not cleaned from the previous visitors when we arrived which was very upsetting. However, I called and within 1/2 hour 2 people showed up to clean the house and did a wonderful job. The service was excellent to resolve the problem. Otherwise, all was very good during our stay.

Beautiful property. Bumpy road getting to it is no joke! House is bright and very comfortable with all the necessities. One wish was to have a few more TV stations for non streaming. Guys wanted to watch football but couldn’t get it.

San Miguel

The best part of this home is the view and closeness to nature. The views are outstanding and the peacefulness and tranquility of the location was exceptional. There were a few maintenance details about the home that need attention in addition to some kitchen utensil refurbishments needed. These were communicated to the property manager. The property manager was very responsive and also dealt with an ant problem experienced in both bathrooms immediately. Bbq does not work well and needs replacing. Loved the digital check-in and communication feature that was in the home by the property company.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I really enjoyed staying at Vista Vine Cottage. It was a time to get away, enjoy each other’s company, and savor eating breakfast and dinner on the patio. It is a quiet space and plenty of room to stretch out. I savored getting up early, having coffee, and to see the sunrise with the incredible view. And we got to do this with the rabbits, quail, various birds, and even a road runner. Nights were great. Being able to see the stars like we did was simply incredible. And I was so thankful to be able to participate in Mass at Mission San Miguel during our stay. You can get into Paso Robles in 20 minutes if you need something. And it is so much better and more cost effective than staying at a hotel. We had five people (my wife and I, and our three adult children) and as I said there is plenty of room to be by yourself and very comfortable to be all together. The property does say it can sleep 8 but the small sofa that folds out is too short. So if you do have 8 people, bring a very good queen air mattress. Regardless, this is a great space and I highly recommend it.

Vista Vine cottage (6070 lazy hill road) is excellent, very comfortable, cool place. We enjoyed beautiful view in the morning breakfast time. The morning fog, cool weather made us feel like meditating. We enjoyed morning walks around the area, the nearby Paso Robles restaurants, Primos beach, Hearst castle near by sight seeings and views.

Lovely stay!

We stayed 3 nights at Vista Vine cottage. The property was accurately described in the listing, well stocked for all our needs. It was very clean and had a great layout for our family of 7. We loved the view from the back patio, we even got to see some wildlife (deer and rabits).
