Everything was great at this property. We did have eaten issue with our door, not staying locked after you close it, but the staff came out and fix the concern. The hotel is clean. It was quiet. There was a door seating area in the middle. Parking is secure staff is able to see the parking lot and able to see when you arrive and leave so that they can open the gate

The colonial-style hotel is conveniently located near the historic center. The room is nice the only bad thing is that they gave me two remote controls to use a TV, but the service of the staff is good.

The beautiful hacienda theme is evident throughout the property with Mexican tile, colorful walls, lush garden-patio, and metal accents. The double bed rooms are small and have a single chair and small desk for a sitting area. The bathroom sink is a little high for the average (5’ 2”) female. Shower is nice, good water flow and hot water are available. Bar soap and shampoo are provided but no conditioner, so be sure to pack some! There is no air conditioning (not even a mini-split), so a fan was provided to us (we asked for it). Opening the window and taking a shower help to cool off. We stayed in March, so the heat wasn’t too bad. I can’t imagine a stay during the summer months! We also asked for an iron from the front desk; there is no board, but the beds are firm enough to iron on. Continental breakfast is a very small portion - a sweet bread and about 2 oz each of fruit, yogurt, and granola. They offer your choice of four or five menu items for a small upcharge, but they are not worth the price. If breakfast is your thing, you’re much better off going to one of the many cafés within walking distance, i.e. Cafe Buen Día, El Encanto. Hotel is within walking distance to many tourist attractions, including Mercado de Artesanias, Parroquia, Museo de Allende, and Parque San Benito, but I would stay a little closer next time.

There were so many cockroaches in the room, we actually had to sent my husband first to check the bathrooms before I went or my kid went. We complained and they said they did something but we still had the roaches. Internet does not work. I called and complained and was told the internet was working just fine, I had work to do but they were really helpless in getting internet to work as they were not even willing to try to help get a solution. Also the included breakfast is just apiece of bread, coffee and like 3 pieces of fruit.

Very clean, comfortable beds, large spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was a plus although they serve the same thing every day there was also a restaurant which you could order from the menu. I would definitely recommend this.

It had warm water. The second floor had a nice view to the parking lot. It was peaceful. It was hard to borrow utensils. We forgot some items and they never remind us about it or contact us about it. The door had a gap, no heater, hard mattress. Expedia charged us almost three times that if we had done directly. Thank you!!

good location but shower drains slow
Hotel was clean with beautiful courtyard. Very nice location, and able to get to main streets in about 10 minutes walking. The room was spacious and we were able to get 3 beds. It was also very nice they provide free tea and coffee during the evenings. The service was good although we had to use some body language to communicate since I don't speak Spanish. The hotel does not have air conditioning so had to use the fan to keep air circulating. The negatives is that the shower drained very slowly. By the time I am done showering the basin would be full of water to almost my ankle. The shower water is not hot. It is warm enough to take shower, but not hot.

Nice hotel
The hotel is really nice and close to attractions. The room is comfortable and clean…… the only bad thing is the service at restaurant that doesn’t give any other drink than coffee or tea

This is a great hotel to stay at visiting SMA. It is walking distance to everything. We only used Uber to get to and from the wedding we were going to. The staff is very helpful and they addressed all our questions immediately. The hotel is in a safe area and we felt comfortable being outside in till later. Breakfast is efficient and the staff is very attentive. And the property is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend it

The hotel is located near the central historic district of SMA which is full of colorful culture, great to walk around and explore. The hotel itself is made to resemble and old hacienda with cobblestones and archways and very comfortable rooms. Definitely recommend!

The staff was really nice we were able to check in early elevator is a plus breakfast is okay you can always order extra if the one they provide is not enough walking to the church is about a 10 to 15 min walk over all the stay was excellent
