It was really good. It is conveniently located close to Cal Poly. They had beautiful artwork in the room. They have sports bar and restaurant downstairs. We had lunch and breakfast there. My only criticism is that they would hire more employees.

I liked the artwork in the room and clean room. However, above our room on the 1st floor, we heard loud creaking every time the person above our room walked, which started at 6:30am, It was bothersome, even when we were awake. I told the front desk that they need to fix their flooring. I would stay here again only if I knew that I would get a room on the 2nd floor.

Well kept property, but I was put-off feeling gouged during Cal Poly drop-off weekend. For more than three-hundred per night, one should not be able to hear every single foot-step from the room above and a very loud back door repeatedly slamming throughout the day and night. Front desk clerk was less than friendly on check-in, and then later that night wanted an extra fifty dollars per night for a cot (daughter unexpectedly had to sleep with us on first night) then grouchy clerk offered to give us one for twenty-five dollars. Really? Stylish property with overall bad attitude and not at all hospitable. I would not recommend or stay there again.

I feel the price is a bit high for what it is. I like the university themed decor, but the core is still just a typical 3 star hotel. Lobby staff did not mention the $15 parking fee (I read about it on google). At checkout the next day, I asked again and the staff still didn't mention any additional charge. It ended up being deducted from the incidental charge.

This our second time staying at this establishment and both times we had a great stay. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and the little restaurant downstairs served some great food. Only negative feedback is the floors are extremely noisy. I could tell our upstairs neighbor was walking softly but the floors creak really loudly. Also the AC unit in our room was loose in the wall so there was an obnoxiously loud buzzing noise coming from it. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay at an affordable price.

The on-site laundry room was super helpful in the middle of a long vacation with a lot of our dirty clothes! The outdoor games and sitting area were so fun and relaxing and cute. Absolutely loved the decor of the whole place. They have a restaurant that had trivia going on while we were there and the staff was super nice!

The hotel was okay overall. There wasn’t really anything special about the property, but it was clean and served its purpose. My only complaint was the squeaky floor/ceiling noise from above. I could hear the person in the room upstairs walking around almost constantly, which was quite noticeable, especially at night. Other than that, the stay was uneventful and met basic expectations.

Our room was exceptionally clean and CUTE!!! We loved the art deco over the bed. The room had everything we needed. Microwave, coffee maker,blow dryer and extra pillows & blankets. There was so much to see and do! We had a wonderful stay and got to enjoy all the amenities. Definitely would recommend. Plenty of parking and bike rentals.

The room and hotel overall are great...very comfy beds. One thing....the hotel cleaning crew in the morning was soooo loud. Their walkie talkies were going off in the hallway on their cart which was right by my door. And there were chatting it up in the hallways. This is what I woke up to. It was 8:30am on a Sunday morning and I just thought that was not fair - I finally had a day to sleep in and the room was nice and comfy and dark...and bam...maids and walkie talkies woke me up. It would be nice if this wasn't how others were also woken up.

First off - Super friendly staff. Hotel was clean, inviting, tons of parking. Good price on Expedia. Cleaning was good except for random hair in the tub. Requested a top floor room, was assigned 1st floor. Neighbors above seemed to be constantly walking back and forth for an hour from 11PM to past midnight, and hotel must be older because LOTS of creaking in joists as they did so. I took some nighttime cold medicine and it was not an issue :)
