Very nice property that accepts pets at no extra charge. The deluxe room was very comfortable so my dog and I stayed here for more than a week. My reservation was made daily which meant having to check-out and re-register each day which was difficult because of my chronic illness and need for sleep. Management by Heather was downright rude and insensitive. Her staff told me the maximum days is 21 without a hint of hospitality. You’d think they’d want guests to stay there. Apparently, not at this Motel 6. Unfortunately, the owner has the only Motel 6 properties in San Luis Obispo.

Near the main highway 101 going north and south makes this location ideal for getting around town and other areas. Nice views of the hills on the back side of the property. The manager was kind enough to offer a room without a room above us as my dog gets spooked by sounds above us. Then, Heather turned around and showed a different side to her personality during our stay. She was rude and her staff began to reflect that same attitude towards me when I had to re-register each day before 11 am. I have a chronic and terminal illness which was of no consequence to them. They got uglier as the days progressed.

As mentioned earlier, the property is nice with a swimming pool and laundry room. The room was very comfortable, stayed here for more than a week. The manager was downright mean at every opportunity during my stay. My reservation was made daily which meant having to check-out and re-register each day which was difficult because of my chronic illness and need for sleep. Management was rude and insensitive. The check-in staff told me the maximum days is 21 without a hint of hospitality. Who does that when a guest is registering? One would think they’d want guests to stay longer. Apparently, not here at this motel.
