Amazing tourist and relaxation destination in Maipo Valley. On-site activities and restaurant. We got massages and did the Zipline. Wish we had more days here for horse rides and swimming in the pool! Staff was super helpful. WiFi only in common areas.
Wonderful spot to relax at. The best part about our accommodations at a lodge room was the private wood fired hot tub. It was relaxing to sit under the stars at night in a wood burning hot tub.
The staff we excellent and very helpful despite my having little Spanish and then know very little English.
the surrounding country side is spectacular with many opportunities to hike, and river rafting.
Wonderful! So glad we went here. Beautiful and interesting resort, with lots of amenities, and very unique architecture and spiritual bent. The room rate includes a guided hike to the waterfall through the animal rehabilitation area (there are pumas!) and the forest/mountain that is being restored with native plants. Highly recommend!
This is an amazing property. It is a working farms, a hobbit village, a nature preserve, a spa and a camp ground.
The valley and riverside location is beautiful and a lot of time, money and attention went into the landscaping.
The food was excellent. The restaurant was a bit slow in service one night, but they offered free drinks and deserts to compensate, so all is forgiven.
Robes and slippers in the rooms would have been an extra special touch.
The $30 US charge for the one hour use of the heated Jacuzzi seems a bit high too, but it was nice...the pools are not heated and can be cool in the early summer.
Go the House of Chocolate in the village for some great hot chocolate and treats.
The locally grown walnuts are the best!

The property is beautiful and in a good location. The service was awful and generally they made us feel like we were imposing on them.
What an amazing place to escape from the bustle of the city. An hour from the city depending on traffic but you feel you are in the wilderness. Lots of activities. Cabins are quirky and very comfortable. Delighted with the offering in the restaurant
Simply amazing. The service, the activities, the location, the amenities, the food. This is a great place to enjoy an adventure weekend with your loved one and/or family. It is great for kids with tons of great outdoors activities. You have also other restaurants in the area and many things to see and enjoy nature! The place is absolutely amazing and not that far from the city of Santiago. I recommend it 120%.
The area was fantastic. Nice hiking and nature around the resort. The inside could have cleaner but you’re in a cabin on a river so you shouldn’t expect 5 star accommodations.
Plenty of activities onsite and reasonably priced.
Set on a river in the foothills of the Andes the gardens were beautiful and the whole experience quite memorable. We stayed in the Gaudi-esque lodges which are apart from the main site with their own pool and breakfast room. It was well worth the extra money and the lodges and rooms were unusual and extremely comfortable. Lots to do throughout the day or just laze by the pool and read a book.

Attention - carefully examine your charges
My stay at Cascada de Las Animas as fine, except that they charged my Amex in advance for the room and hotel tax, and they were NOT supposed to charge me for the tax because I'm a foreign tourist. This as a bit negligent and disappointing. Otherwise, it was a fairly positive experience.
This place is a fairy tale place. It's so amazing, located at the heart of the Cajon del Maipo, this place is a like a hidden forest jewel. The cabins, suites, and other types of accommodations are truly unique. If you want a very special location to celebrate with family and friends this is the place to go. There are so many activities an amenities. The water rafting team from the Cascadas, or Ruta Vertial were absolutely kind to allow us to ride the river on a holiday! We could not be more grateful. What a wonderful experience. We fully recommend it and will certainly go back as many times as we can!
