Marina District Garden Apartment
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay in this nicely-appointed garden apartment in the San Francisco Marina District. There were so many beautiful sights within easy walking distance, and the Muni transit system was readily available for transportation to more distant locations. The layout of the apartment and the adjoining rear patio made us feel very comfortable from the outset. Otto and his family were very gracious hosts, who made us feel welcome and at home. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, aber kein Stellplatz
Die Wohnung war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Es war bequem, alle Einrichtungs- und Gebrauchsgegenstände waren reichlich vorhanden. Wir fühlten uns wohl.
Nur der angebotene Stellplatz für unser Mietauto war nicht vorhanden. Wir mussten auf der Straße parken (Parkdauer 2 Stunden) und suchten oft lange nach einem Parkplatz. Ständig stand das Auto an einem anderen Platz.
Ansonsten wäre die Wohnung mit fünf Sternen zu bewerten, aber der fehlende Stellplatz, der ein Kriterium unserer Wahl war, nervte täglich.

Fabulous host and location.
Otto is a fantasic host who went out of his way to help us in every way. The apartment is fabulously located right next to the beautiful Marina area of San Francisco overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and within walking distance of everything you could need on Chestnut Street. It has a great kitchen, everything you need to cook with including fantastic sharp knives, such a contrast to many other rental places. It was wonderful to have some outdoor space though I would say the apartment was rather dark as it didn't get any direct sunlight and even though it doesn't have its own washer/dryer Otto kindly let us use others on the property, there are also several Laundromats in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay.
