The only exception to this being a perfect place to stay would be the parking not being on premises. But it was just around the corner.... staff was great happy hour was great. It's perfect if you plan on doing a lot of exploring and not a lot of spending time in your room.

Clean and interesting period decor. Love the architecture of the hotel and the rooms with exposed brick. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the location- central and easy to walk and explore. Of note, there’s no elevator so be warned but the staff gladly carry your bags up the flights. Next time, we’ll pack light. But the hotel was great.

Great boutique hotel! Standard rooms are not as big as chain hotels but it has so much charm that is hard to beat. Comfortable, clean and located in a good spot. Would stay here again.

We had to keep asking for new towels, toilet paper and were told house keeping came every other day but they only came once in our 5 day trip. Otherwise staff was very nice and helpful. The bar area was beautiful with good food.

Charming hotel in the Gaslamp district. Clean simple room; comfortable bed. Friendly, professional front desk person. We were able to store our bicycles in a storeroom during our stay. We had a $25 voucher to use at the hotel. We had a very nice breakfast in the hotel. We would recommend. Easy walk to Petco park.
