Was disappointed with the check in process, staff was cordial but not real warm. You will want to make sure you stay in the opposite side of the train, If not plan on staying up late if you are not an extremely heavy sleeper. Housing keeping was very prompt and did a great job. Pool service was very slow but nice. Lots of options in that area to stay, probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff was great. Food was mediocre to poor, room was dirty, ac didn’t get cold. Room price for the night was way too much for what we received. Only offered valet parking for $70 a night. Downtown San Diego (gaslamp) is filthy, transients everywhere.
