"The hotel in general wasn't bad, the staff was friendly, quick check in and out was easy and fast. Room was cozy. Bed was comfortable. Just a few blocks from Little Italy. I only have 2 complaints 1.) One out of the two elevators were working so the wait for the elevator was ridiculously long and people were packed in there like sardines. 2.) Thought the restaurant menu would have been larger, but there were only a few items to choose from. Overall, I'd definitely book again here. "

"Excellent stay. I was upgraded to the 12th floor (top floor) without asking. Felt great. Awesome staff. Will definitely be back. The only negative would be the shower door. The door closest to the faucet is sealed/locked for some reason. It was difficult turning on the shower w/o getting wet with the initial cold water. Outside of that, GREAT stay, great staff and great hotel."

"The staff especially Merry were kind, friendly, and helpful. Rooftop is a must. They have coffee, tea, ice, etc and plenty of tables and chairs either outside or indoors to chill with family and/or friends. Air conditioning worked well, and the room was clean with small fridge and microwave in a side room with a sofa and tv. It’s walking distance from Petco Park about 12 minutes and all the Gaslamp restaurants, bars, etc. "
