Good, but could have been better

Great front desk staff and friendly helpful service. Room was a bit small and slightly musty smelling and unfortunately housekeeping did only a cursory cleaning between our stay and the prior guests. Still some hair on the sink and no extra toilet paper with only a small half roll available.

El hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento ni tiene convenio con algunos cercanos . Tampoco hay en la habitación aire acondicionado ni calefacción. Considero, por el precio y porque otros hoteles de costo similar sí cuentan con estos servicios , que es un punto a considerar cuando se elija este hotel. El desayuno muy rico y la atención del personal excelente.

Pretty and good location

Very pretty hotel. Rooms are small and double bed very small. Good location and very clean. They don’t speak English and cater more to Mexicans which didn’t bother me at all even though I don’t speak Spanish I managed to communicate. We had a triple and had to ask for a third towel every day for 4 days. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced

A colonial gem with modern conveniences & comfort

The Hotel San Marcos was a second stop in San Cristobal dlc and it was a delightful respite. The hotel was clean and appointed beautifully. We (my mom and I) had been staying at another colonial property in the city with a tour group and due to illness had to stay behind in San Cristobal before heading home. When we arrived at Hotel San Marcos we were impressed with everything we saw and with everyone we met. Laundry was sent out and received back in two hours, the room was cozy and when I asked for extra blankets the desk manager offered a room heater. I will choose Hotel San Marcos anytime I am in San Cristobal.

Al principio nos dieron una habitacion que no se parecia nada a las fotos publicadas en expedia. Ademas por estar cerca del lugar donde sirven el desayuno, era muy ruidoso. Asi que pedimos un upgrade del cuarto y nos regalaron los desayunos para toda nuestra estancia. Fuera de eso, el personal fue muy atento y servicial y las instalaciones muy limpias.

Bonito Hotel

El Hotel es muy bonito. Me gusto mucho la comida del desayuno buffet y el ballet folkclorico que tienen. Solo que no planearon la temporada alta y que se iba a acabar pronto la comida. El cuarto fue lo unico que no me gusto el 108. Demasiado pequeño !!!!!!!
