Hotel Via Roma
Walking distance to Altstadt and Leopold Lake. Nice size room. Windows able to open, albeit on the roadside. Parking (limited) but worked for us. Asked for basic cutlery: received quickly and more items than we asked for. Staff interactions great.

Hotel am Mirabellplatz
Great location near Mirabell Gardens. Within 11-15 min walking of everything we would want to do in Salzburg. Hotel is a bit older - rooms are narrow and carpeted.
