"We have travelled a lot throughout Europe and am happy to say that this hotel has been our absolute most favourite! The rooms are a wonderful treat - the breakfast delicious and the staff were the friendliest and most helpful staff we have ever experienced! The hotel is off the busy streets a bit but very walkable to absolutely everything. The hotel itself has many hidden gems like a beehive (honey used for breakfast each morning) roof top terrace (nice for a glass of wine before bed) lounge...

"The beds were really hard (when checking out, they Said we should have told them - so they had other beds that were better and we were left with bad ones?) You hear everything very clearly from outside the room - hallway, outside when trucks come at 4.30am with goods or at 23.00 when all the +70 year-olds are partying in the lobby The food was really not something I would recommend, be that dinner or breakfast! Especially if you have kids with you, then there isn’t really any dinner besides...

The property and lakefront location are gorgeous and the service is impeccable. "Travelled with a group of friends and several children. The hotel is charming, the bulk of the main building being very old with some modern additions to the rear. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. We all went half board and were well fed with good food. Breakfast was a wealth of choice, both continental and some English staples. Dinner was equally good, you could effectively have a 5 course meal every day. A great hotel in a great setting both winter and summer. Thank you so...
