This is a nice place to stay. It is right on the main highway through Salida, so everything is close by. The room was clean and quiet, and it has been remodeled with a nice retro style. The breakfast is very good - better than most in this price range. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good all around.

The SR Lodge is an older motel that has been renovated and refurbished. We loved our room; modern, nicely appointed and furnished and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and had a terrific unique bedhead. Bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a small but serviceable kitchen area, office desk & chair plus a 2nd chair in the room as well. It is very unusual to have a full sized fridge and freezer in a motel, which we really appreciate when we are travelling for lengthy periods. A small but adequate bathroom. Outstanding accommodation for a very reasonable price. The Mexican restaurant just a short walk from the motel was terrific. Lovely views of the snow-capped mountains. Friendly welcoming on arrival. Highly recommend.

Our suite was very nice and had a nice backdrop view. Staff was super friendly. Wish there was longer time on the hot tub time slots.

We really liked this property. The room was excellent and it had one of the best mattresses we have ever had on our many stays at different hotels/motels. We will definitely be staying here again.

A very nice motel with spacious rooms and great views from the back windows to Methodist Mountain. Kurig coffee maker with pods was great. Staff very nice. Only drawback was a mediocre breakfast although the staff were really nice.

Please stop by the office the next time you stay with us and tell me what we can put out besides, Fresh Pancakes, Waffles, Biscuits & Gravy, Parfait Bar, Fresh fruit plus all the normal continental fare that would make it Not So "mediocre" in your opinion. Keep in mind we are not a restaurant.Have a great day

It may not look like much from the street, but it is a true hidden gem! My room was completely remodeled and extremely nice! The shower area was like being in a luxury resort! Well done!

The staff is very nice and gave some great suggestions while visiting Historic Salida. The location was very convenient to Monarch Mountain for skiing and visiting Salida’s Historic downtown.

The excessive use of room fragrance was a real turn off. While the facility overall met our expectations, we will not stay here again because we can’t tolerate the room smell.

I guess it is possible the housekeeper used something we didn't know about. Wonderful Stay
Another wonderful stay at The Silver Ridge. We love staying here on our trips skiing at Monarch. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are exceptionally clean, renovated, comfortable and quiet. We look forward to our next stay in two weeks.

Favorite Place to Stay in Salida
Silver Ridge Lodge is our favorite place to stay while in Salida. We ski at Monarch every other week and we choose to stay here. Great customer service, clean, comfortable and quiet accommodations. We will be back in two weeks.

Hot Tub
everything was great except the hot tub. 3 of the 4 seat jets were not functioning so we did not partake. The hot tub was 1 of the reasons we choose this lodge after a long day of hiking, its always nice to soak. But other than that, all was good. Hopefully they will tend to that issue.

The next morning when we checked it out, we discovered another guest had shoved a small plastic bottle in the air intake tube that controls flow to the jets. We removed it and wala, full force jets are all back. We and the hot tub are ready for your next visit. Have a great day.

Comfortable, clean accommodations
We stayed here last time and loved the accommodations enough to choose to stay again this ski season. Rooms are remodeled. Comfortable surroundings. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Front desk is very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub during this visit and it was crystal clear. We are looking forward to our next stay in two weeks.

Great little gem. Stopped here for a night on a long drive and was very impressed by the recent upgrades, the cleanliness, friendly staff, and overall experience. Highly recommended! Nice big rooms with a lot of recent upgrades. Will definitely stay here again if I’m looking for a place to stay in Salida.

The reception was fabulous. The girl at the desk was warm, welcoming and friendly. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. Breakfast was lovely and the staff attending alert and helpful. We will return.
