"Checking in was very difficult. Jose does not speak English. He never made himself available to let us in the building. We were let in by another guest staying in a different apartment. There was one piece of furniture to sit on other than the folding chairs at the kitchen table was a tiny loveseat covered by a ragged slipcover. Couch pillows were old. Beds need mattress pads. "A very well-equipped, stylish and comfortable apartment with flexible space to relax, eat, sleep and work. Although we spent a lot of time exploring, it was also fun to have the large-screen television and Netflix for quieter evenings in. The shower is very luxurious! We stayed on the ground floor apartment, which was modern, spacious, comfortable, super clean, and had everything you need on a visit to Santiago de Compostela. "This is a nice property in a very old building. As a result, it is not luxurious, but certainly adequate for a short stay. The living room and bed are in the same open area, fine for two people. The kitchen is adequate with a 4 burner stove, full refrigerator, washing machine, microwave. It is a short walk from the cathedral and everything else in the old town. I would recommend this property."

"The apartment was perfect for our stay. Owners met us at the door and provided a tour of the apartment features. We loved the warm touches that made it feel like home. It was also well located for walking to sites. The owners were so kind. Provided some yummy breakfast muffins, bottled water and cold beer. Check in and check out were easy. Would stay there again the next time we are in Santiago."

"We stayed as a treat at the end of the camino de santiago - we were welcomed, shown to our room and able to book at the restaurant for dinner. The half board option allows you to book at either restaurant (reis being the traditional one) and order a starter, main and desert (drinks not included). Breakfast too was a feast with slots for when to go so it wasnt crowded. Brilliant location, understated and such an experience to stay in Spains oldest hotel! "
