"the perfect location for a short stay in Nice! and a well maintained hotel with responsive staff. we got a room on the 6th floor when we arrived early, they did do the early check in at a price but it was worth it to get the room right away. it is very close to shops and restaurants, and two tram stops away from train station. promenade is a block out and was great to be able to walk mornings and evenings. my only complaint was our bathroom door didnt lock properly and the hotel staff didnt fix it thru our stay."

"It’s a historic hotel. The location is perfect. Right on the promenade. Just a short walk to old town. And just a few blocks away from many restaurants. The stuff was very helpful. Everyone at the front seat was respectful and willing to answer any questions and address any issues. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the stuff at the restaurant was really good. The rooms were spacious. However, they are in need of some serious improvements. The furniture needs to be upgraded too. Way too old and falling apart. You can still retain your historic look. Just upgrade the rooms."

"My only complaint was the way it’s advertised you would think the beach is a part of the hotel, and maybe it is but when I found out they wanted to charge me $35 per chair and $5 for a towel I was turned off. Being a hotel beach, if that’s the actual case I think guest should have FREE access to chairs and especially towels. We walked down to the next Set of chairs and umbrellas paid $30 for chairs and towels. And the lunch was amazing also. That was my only issue, I booked a week for the beach so $80 a day for the beach just didn’t sit well. Otherwise great location to everything. Can’t comment on the food. We would probably stay there again but having the knowledge of the beach is helpful"
