"The red lights when we arrived at night didn't give the best impression to start with. The room was clean and welcoming, but the bathroom was very small and my main complain point: All plastic and no curtain, it felt like the bathroom of an autocaravan and looked worn out, with marks that looked dirty but could be of rust or paint falling off. The lack of curtain ment that the toilet and floor would get wet whenever we showered. Not ideal. There were no pictures of the bathroom before reserving, so it was a bit of a shocker. Knowing this beforehand I might have considered paying a bit more to get a better bathroom. Perfect location for a walk around Le Lac"

"Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them."
