"One of the best hotel experiences of my life! From the friendly staff greeting us and treating us like VIPs, to the excellent food and unbelievable views, I would recommend this cozy getaway to everybody I can!"

"The most important thing to note is the limited hours of the front desk (10am to 6pm in the summer). This is an issue if you might arrive late or want to leave your bags in the morning after checking out. The hotel is absolutely serious about wanting you to contact them before you arrive to confirm your arrival time although the email they sent to me had no return email address. "It was awesome, we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was very nice too and staff is very friendly. We did felt a little bit lost at arrival opening doors and finding the room ourselves but overall is was a very pleasant stay. We will be back "
"Whatever you remember about youth hostels, this ain't it. Modern, clean, not cheap (it's Switzerland), and it has a very nice wellness spa for a rather reasonable additional charge. Food is good but not fancy, and staff were extremely helpful.
The only glitch was that I booked this stay with OneKeyCash, and hotels.com (i.e., expedia) took my money and gave me a receipt showing no balance due, but then didn't actually pay the hostel! That led to lots of extra work for the hostel staff to straighten things out. I would rate the hostel itself at 10/10, but hotels.com/expedia at 0/10. "

"Thankfully this wasn’t my first trip to Saas-Fee or I’d never go back…
I’ve been going for more than 10 years and we have a place in the village but needed somewhere bigger to accommodate family.
Topline… the place is well past its sell by date and the interaction with the hosts - Saas Holidays - wasn’t great.
On arrival we had our apartment number on our booking and told the concierge on the phone. He said that he didn’t have the booking reference so as long as we had the number on our booking to enter the apartment.
We then got a call about three hours later saying we were in the wrong apartment and somebody else wanted it.
This is actually incorrect because we had that apartment number all the time on our booking it just so happens that another family wanted the ground floor because they were staying longer and it was going to be easier for them.
Would be happy to change if we’ve known all of this, but we’d already left our things in the apartment and gone off for the day .
During the day the property is very very dated shower enclosure very small and the shower pretty poor.
The beds are not necessarily comfortable either.
What really got me annoyed were the posters on the kitchen cupboard saying that if you didn’t put the cups away and leave the kitchen tidy you would be fine. Fr.75.
There was also a fine for not putting all your rubbish in the tax bag which you buy yourself.
As a final insult we were told to check out by 9am because they were busy!!!"
