"Lovely central hotel, great views, friendly team. Immaculately clean. Only downside uncomfortable beds but appreciate this is personal choice. Wonderful to see building history."

"Decent room. Some dirt needing reporting. No safe. Water not replenished each day. No robes or slippers. These are charged and too much. So not great facilities. Excellent breakfast. Not very good lunch or supper. Bar very expensive."

"The Hotel was very clean and bright. Our room was splendid and the staff were cheerful, helpful and courteous. Overall a perfect stay."

"The room was clean but very cold and heating never came on so one of the staff gave us an electric heater and we had to run the taps for ages to get hot water. Also noticed a lot of mould in the corridors at the windows. Breakfast was okay. The hotel definitely needs a refurbishment!"

"Hotel is clean and tidy, with lovely staff. The spa itself was a huge bonus at a hotel, the only downside I have is that there are a good few steps in this hotel, some quite tricky steps down to the lower level spa, but it was lovely clean and very relaxing. Can get quite busy. "
