"After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. "I had a wonderful stay on the Rosario islands at this resort! I chose to stay here because of the experiences offered and was able to do the mangrove and community tour, snorkeling, a service at the spa, and the bioluminescent plankton tour. Both beaches at the resort were also amazing. I was surprised at how spacious it was and how it really did not feel crowded despite seeing how many people arrived on the boats. I highly recommend staying here overnight!"
