The room did not look anything like the pictures posted, not even close. They did let us check in early and let us store our luggage since we got in so early, so that was really nice. We did not have hot water one night so my daughter took a cold shower. The location was AMAZING and the staff was kind. Just be aware that the rooms are way less updated tab pictured.

The location is fantastic at only 150 meters from the Colosseum, Forum, etc. The room was quite comfortable and had all the amenities. Parking in this area is a challenge to say the least, but with convenient mass transit a vehicle is not required. The staff was absolutely wonderful, most spoke English and were very knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good about these folks.

This was a great stay. First of all it was clean. That is a must. I also felt safe and had zero issues. Stage was willing and ready to help as needed also. Very convenient location right by the Colosseum and the metro. You can't beat the view from the room either! Grazie per la fantastica visita!

The location of this property is the highlight. Only three minutes walk to the Colosseum. You can enjoy the view of Colosseum day and night. The room is spacious and clean. No breakfast included, but there are restaurants all around the area.

Daniella was extremely nice and super helpful during our stay! The gentleman that followed her was also helpful despite our language barrier. The hotel was in a great location and nice inside.

The location is fabulous with the colosseum viewed from our balcony. The gentleman who checked us in was so helpful and gave us an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant (so good, we went twice). I did find it quite noisy the first night, which if you are a light sleeper can be a problem, because of the restaurants at street level.

The room was very clean and the staff helpful. It is right by the Colosseum and incredibly convenient. Close to the metro. The area/streets around it were dirty with lots of trash.

Nice hotel but wouldn’t recommend
Hotel was in great location right next to the Colosseum and plenty of restaurant options. Having said that I wouldn’t stay there again. The gentleman at the front desk didn’t seem friendly at all. And everyone is required to leave their room key at the front desk when going out. Twice we returned to the property and reception was unattended ( only for a few minutes) but it’s super inconvenient not being able to walk in and go straight to your room.

Great location!!! If we ever come back to Rome def staying here again and will recommend to friends! The room was very modern and had a cute terrace. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were flexible in letting us check in super early since we were traveling for 2 days and desperately needed a shower

Location has bars and late night eateries right next door. But they require you leave the key at the front desk every time you step out. So makes it awkward coming back late since you need to ask for your key instead of just being able to walk up to your room like a regular hotel.

The property is literally across the street from the Colosseum. Easy access to the subway. We found it to be easy to walk to most of the tourist destinations within 20 minutes. The staff were nice. Only weird thing is you must drop your keys at the desk when you leave. The positive of that is you never have to worry about losing the room key.

Close to Colosseum! Booking said breakfast at nearby restaurant, host said no breakfast. 2nd floor, no elevator which I usually wouldn’t mind but my luggage was heavy and 2 floor are like 4.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. For starters , they close their door at midnight and If you leave the hotel , they don’t allow you to take your room’s keys with you. Therefore , if you stay out longer than midnight , you won’t be able to enter the building and there is no one around to help. There is no front reception , they only have a small room at the rear of the building with a person making sure to find ways to make you pay more money on top of what you have already paid to Expedia. I was charged for 3 persons , and when I arrived I was told that I only paid for 2. I showed them my receipt where it clearly said that I paid for 2 adults and a minor, but they looked at my daughter and in a very rude way they told me that she is not child and that I have to pay more. Although I showed them my receipt several times and they actually acknowledged that I was charged for 3 persons , they didn’t care and I had to pay additional money. Once in the room I received an email from Expedia asking to review my experience during checking in, I replied : terrible 😡. The next day one of the guys asked why I gave them that review and told me that they don’t really care about those reviews anyway. The hotel is not nice enough for the money they charge. The people in charge are not welcoming. Their attitude messed up my experience in Italy. The are is not bad, there are restaurants and bars which you can’t really enjoy them because you’ve to be back before midnight.

You booked and paid for 2 adults and 1 child. The policy clearly says that 1 child up to 6 years old sleeps free sharing parents bed. When you arrived you tried to hide to the receptionist your 16 years old daugther. This is a very dishonest behaviour. We accomodated her asking you the ridicoulus ammount of just 20 per night. We provided an extra bed and additional towels for her. Next time if you need a room for 3 make sure you are paying the right ammount.

Everything was great except for the exception that you need it a big pair of keys to open doors and every time you had to go out you need it to give it back to the hotel staff.

The best thing about this property is the fact of how close it is to coliseum if that is where you want to be. That’s the reason we chose it. The room was good and we had everything we needed. It is a walk up stairs so you should know that. Staff was very friendly

Location. Location. Location.
Location right by Colosseum is amazing. Triple room had really nice views, facing a park and overlooking an archeological area. You could see part of Colosseum if you stuck your head out of the window. Only 3 of 5 rooms have views. The cons of room w/views is that it was noisy. Street below is full of late-night bars (open til 2am) and there are several busy roads intersecting outside. The windows are good at keeping noise out, but light sleepers like me may want earplugs. The triple room was large, clean, and nicely remodeled, but light on amenities: no tea/coffee, no complimentary water, no robes/slippers, and really slow WiFi. There were however plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and even some toothbrushes. There was a tiny safe in the room (not laptop sized) and a mini-fridge. All the rooms are located on 2nd floor and there is no elevator. Dragging heavy luggage up the steep, narrow stairs is painful. 24h front desk is very helpful for late flight arrival. We did receive a confusing message saying there was no 24h reception and late check-in would incur additional cost; neither turned out to be true. Ring Imperial Rooms if front door is closed. The biggest issue we had was a really bad sewage smell in the bathroom. Thankfully it stayed in bathroom so bedroom ok. We mentioned it on 1st morning and upon return everything smelled fine. Unfortunately, by next morning the smell was back. Hopefully it is something they can fix. Other guests weren’t having issues.

Location to the Colosseum was incredible. Staff was very friendly. We found it a little difficult to find though so look for the entrance that says Imperial Rooms over the door. Would stay again!
