Lovely little hotel. Slightly out of the centre of Rome. Nearest metro stop Forio Camilo shut until November so next nearest is Porto Lungo. We did a lot of walking and a combination of our poor map reading skills and Google maps meant we never seem to take the same route twice! The area around is quiet but seek and you find a bar or somewhere to eat. Taverna Latina very good. Breakfast was good- continental style. Terrace bar is nice but shut on Sunday and there was a private function another night. Be aware supermarket can’t sell alcohol after 10.00pm! Overall a nice little hotel which I would recommend.

Good stay , perfect location

We stayed here on a road trip. The property location is ideal to avoid the ZTL’s and has safe parking ! When we arrived the stay were great , helped us and showed us everything we could do and recommended many places. Our room was okay, it was clean and comfortable but realistically it needed to be refurbished. The shower head had cable ties holding it up and some of the finishes were showing age of a well used hotel. It was still stocked with clean towels and nice smelling soaps. We walked into the centre and back which was just under 1 hour to the Colosseum there’s lots of local transport too but the walk was a great way to see the local area , felt safe and was clean and was very quiet at night We didn’t have breakfast but we did have some drinks on the rooftop terrace which was a great experience. The two bartenders we met were great characters and were extremely kind ! I would stay here again but with some investment in this property it would take it to a much higher level which would be great to see as the staff are amazing

A bit peeved

Comfortable, a good place to sleep but well outside the city - the ‘secret price’ was shockingly high. A quick call to the hotel BEFORE booking would have reduced the price BY A THIRD!!!!

O Hotel é bem localizado, equipe atenciosa, tem estacionamento mas as vagas são limitadas e é necessário fazer reserva com antecedência. A acústica do quarto não é boa, você consegue ouvir as pessoas do quarto ao lado.

Es un hotel muy antiguo le faltan detalles de remodelación, especialmente la habitación donde estuvimos el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y la pasamos muy mal con el calor, tuvimos q quejarnos varios días hasta q nos cambiaron de habitación.

Good Stay

Enjoyed our stay at Romoli Hotel. The staff was very helpful and assisted in recommending sites to see and places to eat. Also helped to set up a bus tour to Pompei for us. Enjoyed our walk from the Metro stop through the neighborhood to the hotel. Rooftop breakfast was a great way to start each day. Room was a little small but clean.

It’s an average property but it could be well above average. The breakfast could be more elaborate without much extra cost to the hotel. The bar area could be stocked a bit better to encourage guests to have a cocktail before heading out for dinner. The entire hotel needs an upgrade from the years ‘80. It’s not that it was run down, just that it seemed worn and out of time. It’s a lovely location with decent sized grounds but they are under utilized. The room I had was very small, not like the one pictured at the time of booking. However the bed was one of the best I’ve had in Italy. I also appreciated the mini fridge.
