AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
We arrived during poring rain on December 1,2019, only to find out the hotel had been closed over a month for renovation. We never received any advance notice, nor any information at the site. I traveled over 160 countries this is the worst experience I ever had. Kind people of cross the hallway told us. We ended up staying another hotel in the same building and everything there was WONDERFUL.

Overall I was very happy with this stay. Pros: The hotel was in a GREAT location. The room was clean and very large by European standards. Elevator and a/c. The bathroom was also very spacious. Minor cons: I was a little frustrated that there was no information other than my room location provided at check-in (I had to ask about breakfast time, etc). I wish breakfast started at 7 instead of 8 for the earlier risers. There were no snacks or coffee available in the afternoon as advertised on their website.

Great place to stay!
We stayed as a family for 4 nights. The place is in a great location. Everything you will want to visit is within walking distance. It is very clean and even though you are in the middle of Rome, it is still quiet. The service is great. Breakfast choices are a little limited but I enjoyed the freshly made cappuccino. The only downside to our stay was the fact that WiFi was not working in every location within our room. We had to sit closer to the door to have a good signal.

This is a nice B&B property, located right on Piazza Navona near every tourist attraction. It is very quiet and very clean with continental breakfast included

I was lucky to be alone entirely at the hotel. It was pretty cool and it was nice to have the opportunity to work from the kitchen. The only thing that could be better other than the mattress and the pillows is the internet signal (or lack thereof) in the rooms. But for the price I paid, I'm happy I got a good deal

Excellent location
The best location of all Rome imo. Wifi is very weak the further you are away from the break room. Very difficult location to find. Had to ask locals for help several times, we walked around in endless circles. Can hear everyone in the hallway. Luckily the other travelers were pretty quiet. Great room for the price though. Good only if you plan to be out for most of the day. Service was excellent, very helpful and accommodating!

Wonderfully located in Piazza Navona, right in the heart of Rome, with walking distance to all attractions. The hotel also offered a nice breakfast served by Antonio our warm and gracious host. Loved it - my second time there and it will not be my last.

This place photographs well but that's where it ends! Reality, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, mismatched furniture, large piece of plaster missing in the bathroom, rain shower not working properly, lastly no front desk so check in was difficult when we arrived. Just a unmarked door between two restaurants. On the plus side it's location is perfect, Piazza Novonna. We were only staying in Rome one night so we endured it, if we were staying any longer I would have gone somewhere else.

Excellent location, but difficult to find at first! Staff were very welcoming, we were met with a greeting at the door, the password and keys were provided straightaway. We were given really good advice on how to travel, where to go and how best to get there. Wifi however was only available in the breakfast room, and so wasn't available in our room.

Hotel was right on Piazza Navona, very close to other attractions such as Pantheon, Fountain of Trevi, Colosseum and Vatican. They were all within walking distance. Florence is an 11/2 away by train. The hotel room was small and outdated but clean, typical of an all city. Nice staff and helpful. Overall an excellent choice if you want to stay in the heart of Rome.

Great location. Basic breakfast in the morning, croissant, cappuccino, youfurt cereal banana or apple. Rooms were roomy. We had 4 adults and we were comfortable and there was a blow dryer and some mini shampoos. Man taking care of property was very helpful. Only 5 rooms in hotel(b&b)

Really disappointed. The only good thing about this place its the location, two steps and you are in piazza Navona. too many things wrong with this hotel for example: tv doesn't work safety box doesn't work no Iron provided bad odor dirty floors beds are very squeaky wooden floors are super squeaky, there is no way to walk to the bathroom without waking up the whole room due to the floor beign so squeaky. I would not recommend this place

Difficult to find. No signs. Hotel is on the second floor of a building. Arrived at 8:30 pm and had to call the hotel to have someone come check us in. No hotel front desk. 15 min later a nice young man let us In and showed us the room. Bed was v hard but very clean. Nice bathroom. AC was not powerful but opening the window was great. Help was extremely nice. Felt safe. Good location. Great close cafes

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. Relais al Senato Is situated in an excellent location for sight seeing and would recommend it as a base for touring old Rome and major sites are a walking distance away.

The B&B is very close to the middle of attractions but we wished for the10 days we stayed we not only got cold croissant jam semi-hot coffee juice every morning but waffle or pancakes or eggs a variation of hot breakfast food

Excellent location in the Middle of amazing sites!
The location was absolutely perfect! All of the attractions are within walking distance. I highly recommend take the car service to and from the airport as the hotel is hard to find.

Rome - Piazza Navona
Room had been recently renovated so bathroom and room itself were very fresh. Location almost on the doorstep of Piazza Navona is ideal. A little disappointing was the fact that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor a small fridge. Tea could be made using the kitchen area not so sure about coffee. Breakfast was continental - simple but enjoyable. This hotel has only about six rooms so do not expect a 'conventional' hotel on your arrival. Some of the rooms face onto the Cross del Rinascimento so there is a fair bit of traffic noise into the evening and especially in the early morning. The wi-fi was extremely slow. Overall - a practical place to stay if you are looking for somewhere to crash close to the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona. Access to the Piazza and its many restaurants are literally at your doorstep - although be aware these restaurants are very much focused on the tourist trade and therefore are more expensive than the ones just off the piazza.

Location! Close to Piazza Navana & Pantheon
Really enjoyed our stay. Despite the 100 degree heat, the AC kept the room comfortable which seems rare in Rome. Staff was friendly and after we missed our train on check out day, we returned to Relais al Senato and the house man allowed us to keep our bags in the room while we visited the Vatican and then freshen up in the room after before a 4 hour train ride.

So Convenient
We recently visited Rome and could not have picked a better location to stay. We walked everywhere from the Hotel. Large main room and bathroom. Views to street and Piazza Navona. Made use of the common room and fridge to chill our wine etc. I would recommend thus hotel to anyone staying in Rome.

Great apartment in Rome.
Fantastic location! Clean, with good service. Quiet. If you book the top floor apartment the ceilings are a bit low for very tall people. Overall a great stay!

I'm not a fan. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast is ok, and the location is good, maybe too close to Piazza Navona, as it's a little noisy. The problem is this is a big-city downtown hotel, and there is no guest service. Zero. And you can't call yourself a B&B, because there is no host. Just a guy whose job it is to take money and clean up the rooms. When we arrived on a hot and crowded Sunday afternoon at 3:00, the guy was cleaning up a room, so we had to wait outside on the street, with luggage, not knowing if there was anyone there at all, because you have to buzz to get in and he wasn't in the office. When we finally did check in, we found the attendants to be pretty much unhelpful with anything. I can't recommend this place.

We stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved the location. Right off the Piazza Navona, you are within walking distance to the Vatican, the Pantheon, the Colosseum and more! There is a 24/7 cab station less than a block away, so cab rides are also very convenient. The hotel is so well placed, that it was not hard to stop here mid afternoon to change shoes & get refreshed. The hotel is small and on the second floor, but the elevator worked perfectly. (look for the doorway between two restaurants & ring the buzzer to speak to Newton.) Breakfast was somewhat limited - pastries, cereal, fruit and coffee/juice - but it was adequate to start our day. Windows seemed soundproof and room was quiet at night. My only complaint was that the bed was very extremely firm and I did not sleep as well as I had hoped.

OUR STAY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS
Being on the Piazza Navona means that each evening is a wonderful bit of excitement. The location allows walking to many sights from the Vatican to the Spanish Steps to the Roman Forum. The only negative was very minor compared to the tremendous upsides: occasionally the hot water would end before a late night shower would end. Our host was always friendly and helpful.

No shower door and water coming out- bathroom rug wet and not being replaced or put to dry out- minimum breakfast- no one knows how to make cappuccino - nobody there outside 8am to 6pm and sometimes not there in between - armoire to hang clothes not being able to close door because hangers too long and coming out - no chair in the room - climatization not working - no response to emails - left iPhone charger in the room and not found in the evening

The location of this hotel is absolutely incredible. Literally within steps is beautiful Piazza Navona. I walked everywhere when I was in Rome. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and offered the amenities that I needed. I really enjoyed the gentleman that worked at this hotel. He was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The only complaint that I have about the hotel is the noise level can be quite high - I heard nearly everything happening in the hallway. When I return to Rome, I am happy to say I will be booking this hotel again.
