Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We had been in Italy for 3 weeks and this was the worst place we stayed at, we were there 3 nights.
The pictures are misleading, everything is shabby, curtains, decorative pillows. Pillows are stained, the comforter a disposable one, falling apart. The shower was the worst with the water backing up, no place to put a bar of soap while you showered, the grate in the shower was filled with hair. The door to the bathroom is broken, you can’t close the door.The lights were all dim with several
not working. The big problem was the air conditioning did not work, it was 80 degrees in the room at night, and the windows have to be closed because it is a busy street with 3 restaurants, one directly below the property. The area is great but very noisy, music blasting and noise all night long. The last night we were there only 2 lights worked, the bathroom and one on the desk.
Our biggest mistake was we should have left the minute we got there. The housekeeper was very nice and did the best he could with the run down rooms he had to clean.
