A lodge that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

"Returned from last year. Excellent lodge, very clean, only hour away from Newquay/mevagissey, and the likes of Plymouth and Torquay. so plenty of places to go and explore for the likes of Devon and Cornwall and then relax in the Hot tub after Maintenance team and Luke was fab. Hope to come back next year"
Saffron Lodge, 24 Roadford Lake Lodges
10/10 Excellent
"Bit of a last minute booking due to family struggling to find the time from jobs etc for all of us to be together. Well what an absolutely brilliant find! The lodge was spacious for us 6 (mostly adults). It had everything you needed and was comfortable. We did bring our own fans due to hot weather (mid/high 20 c) which did help. The hot tub was large enough, the pond was a nice view with the ducks and the patch of grass was like our own private garden so my daughters could quietly sunbathe. The location was beautiful and great to pop off to different locations for walks and places in the national trust. We would definitely go back again!"
Primrose Lodge, 25 Roadford Lake Lodges
8/10 Good
"Lovely lodge. Immaculately clean and maintained and very well equipped. Wouldn’t stay here again though as absolutely no privacy. Lodge faces the only road on the site so you have constant children, cars, people walking past the patio. It also wasn’t enclosed so not great when you have a dog. We did feel a bit trapped in the lodge in the whilst we were there."
Rose Lodge, 21 Roadford Lake Lodges - Hot Tub - Free Parking & WiFi
8/10 Good
"Review for 21 Roadford Lake Lodges We recently stayed at Lodge 21 and overall found it clean and comfortable inside. However, a few areas could definitely be improved to make the experience smoother. The exterior felt a bit neglected — the outdoor furniture was dirty, and there were unnecessary leaves and debris that hadn’t been cleared. It gave the outside space a slightly uncared‑for feel, which was a shame given the lovely surroundings. Inside, the lodge was extremely hot on arrival. It would help if housekeeping closed the curtains beforehand and left the windows on the security latch to keep the temperature down for guests checking in. Another ongoing frustration is the onsite EV chargers being out of service yet again. This seems to be a recurring issue and really needs addressing, especially as many guests rely on them. Overall, the lodge itself was clean and pleasant, but a few practical improvements would make a big difference to the guest experience."
Daisy Lodge, 6 Roadford Lake Lodges
8/10 Good
"The lodge itself is fabulous. We had a bit of trouble accessing at night as the access codes for the gate and the lodge are in lots of separate emails and text messages. No one answered the out of hours WhatsApp for a while. But once we were in it was a great base for our water sports event on the lake. Great hot tub and quiet park. The cafe 2 minutes away was lovely with nice views of the lake."
Bluebell Lodge, 29 Roadford Lake Lodges
8/10 Good
"The property is welcoming. It was generally clean although kitchen cupboards, door handles and fridge hadn’t been wiped so I did have to wipe these down before using and the cutlery draw was full of crumbs so I felt everything had to go through the dishwasher before use. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Very comfortable and very well equipped. There was everything we needed and very well laid out. Nice and quiet. The location is good as you are on the border to Cornwall. We booked some kayaking on the lake at the activity centre. Just be advised It’s a 45 minute/hour walk from the lodge or a 5 minute drive. I was on the understanding it was closer to the lodge than that. If you have a dog the back garden is not enclosed however it was a nice little area with table and chairs. The hot tub is a little overlooked. There was nothing no staff on site but contact numbers are given for the duration of your stay. Despite the few negatives I would stay again and recommend"
Hazel Lodge, 27 Roadford Lake Lodges
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the same lodge exactly the same week last year. We revisited as we loved it that much! It is on a very quiet and peaceful site with access down through a gate and wooded area to the lake which is beautiful. There are no shops on site but a Tesco, Lidl or M&S food hall in Launceston less than 15 minute drive where we stocked up for our stay. Strawberry Fields farm shop is also less than a 10 minute drive which we visited almost daily for fresh fruit, salad, meat, deli & cakes! Lovely place and great restaurant or cafe if you want to eat out. Everything in the lodge is a very high standard and has everything you need. Our visit this year was on the exceptionally hot week so the lodge was very hot.We bought a fan from Lidl (lucky got there just as they had a delivery) as there were none in the lodge. Maybe something that could be introduced for any future guests. However having windows everywhere meant we could get some air. Nothing that would stop is going back though as the peace of the location and high quality lodge is fantastic. Another lovely relaxing stay as a family"
A fantastic lodge sleeping 8 with hot tub, just a short walk from Roadford Lake

"Okay- was expecting luxury but the lodge is looking a little tired. Needs more glasses especially wine glasses, mix of very small glasses! Could do with a deep clean too."
