Lovely cottage situated in 40 acres

"Lovely property at the end of a narrow lane right on the edge of Dartmoor. Easy access to lovely walks. Property’s space and rooms is excellent. Provided with a private garden for the cottage. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Clay pigeon shooting on offer (extra cost) was certainly a unique feature. Re walking - on edge of Wilsworthy and Merivale ranges so some areas are occasionally out of bounds - but still plenty of good walking to be had."

"clean room, lots of clean towels, large spring water bottles and glasses provided. very comfortable bed and plump cushions. Tea and coffee etc nicely set out. could not fault the room. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to suit every taste. Lovely couple running it who couldn't do enough for us"

"Our new favourite place, absolutely faultless. Food is exceptional, a significant step up from your normal pub grub. Our little pooch was also made to feel incredibly welcome and even served with her own little platter of treats. A beautifully clean and well presented restaurant experience that welcomes anyone whether it be special celebrations or a party of hikers that have just conquered Dartmoor. 100% we will be back and bringing friends and family."

"The location and the property itself were perfect. The house was so well equipped, the bed really comfortable and the view beautiful! We felt welcome from the moment we stepped through the door, and especially appreciated the welcome basket - thank you! We enjoyed time relaxing in the house, and the walks from the door and nearby. A brilliant few days away; we really hope to visit again."
