"This Hampton Inn is extraordinary...much like the Hampton Inn in Corolla, NC...because they are different. This Hampton Inn has beautiful historic grounds, is located within walking distance of downtown Lexington and W&L. The swimming pool is great. We had the opportunity to see a beautiful rainbow over the mountain view from the rear of the hotel. Loved this place. "

"Check in lady was great. Check in was fast and efficient . She was very friendly and made us feel welcome with big smiles . Only thing we didn’t like was the halls were very noisy at night . Sounded like a lot of boys playing in the hallways talking very loud at a late hour. "

"When we drove up to the property, I was not impressed. The outside needed some basic maintenance. Weeds were overgrowing the landscape rocks and some general attention. But once inside, the property is very nice and well maintained. Our room was quite comfy and clean although the bathroom is a bit small. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of choices. Overall, this property was for our one night stay needs. "
