"This house is really nice and a perfect spot for 2 adult couples. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms on either side of the cabin, a beautiful overlook balcony of the river, and huge windows everywhere to take in the scenery. The owner was really nice and easy to communicate with via text and gave helpful instructions to find the place. It is far off the main road so I suggest traveling in an SUV or a car well off of the ground. My only star taken was for the accuracy of the listing as it says...

Toilet on master room level would have been nice but rustic log cabin living at it’s finest with all the amenities!"

"Such a nice property! We especially loved the outdoor spaces - deck, fire pit area, and the bench beside the creek. Quiet and peaceful! Very close to the trailhead for the A.T., which we loved. Go north to climb Three Ridges or south to climb The Priest. The bed was super-comfy too! Great place to unwind."

"A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied."
