"I always enjoy staying at this hotel when I travel to Staunton to attend a show at the Blackfriars Playhouse. It’s right next door and centrally located to everything. It has a big parking garage and I just park my car there when I arrive and do everything on foot while I’m there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Staying here is part of the formula that makes up my perfect getaway weekend. "

The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. "The convenience to Downtown Lexington and the campus of Washington & Lee was superb. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and check-in and check-out were very easy. We spent the majority of our time away from the hotel, but evening and morning were perfect - very comfortable, clean and quiet. And great water pressure with the shower. And as a final point: we are very appreciate that the cost for a graduation stay was not excessive. Thank you!"
