"Booked for twin and got Double bedding SO ON REMOVAL WE NOTICED !!GRUBBY AT HEAD END with YELLOW MATTRESS STAINS Cobwebs hanging over beds !!! Spoke to their helpline straight away whilst apologetic no solution and refused to provide mattress protector or sheets Rest of flat freshly painted, Clean bathroom , nice artwork, next to the docks and handy for what we needed but as two 50 year old ladies a nice sleep was what we were after Im been repeated asked to leave feedback. This is four days after our stay and staff say (10 mins ago) they have reported it to management but havent heard anything back So im writing my review which i feel is fair and balanced and have offered videos and pictures of the bedroom "

"Nice little place and location for an impromptu overnight stay, but wouldn’t choose longer. Seriously uncomfortable bed, seemingly shared bathroom for ground floor room. Didn’t like having to go out into lobby/reception area to use toilet and or shower. Purpose served for a one night stay. No problem with staff or other guests and a convenient location with parking. "

"The Mecure is a walkable distance from the train station, and from its front doors and front rooms one can look right down a main avenue to the Esplanade and the Firth of Clyde. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items. I also had supper two evenings in the hotel, and the wait staff plus food were very good. The items for vegetarians were fine, but not much was available for vegans. Because of my knee and hip surgeries, I had to ask to change rooms to have a walk-in shower. Do note, if you cannot climb into a tall-sided and narrow bathtub, you need to ask for a room with a walk-in shower. They made the change of rooms for me."
