River Perch on the Cacapon: private home on 27 acres and 1200 ft of riverfront

River Perch on the Cacapon: private home on 27 acres and 1200 ft of riverfront

10/10 Excellent
"I have never met a host like Glenn, he is truly one of a kind! He went above and beyond to help us out from before we even arrived. He provided us with detailed directions and offered to come to where we were to navigate us when the GPS was sending us into the river. He came out to meet us when we arrived at the property even though the hour was late at night. There was fresh produce from his garden waiting for us in the fridge. We had trouble with our transmission and Glenn came to our rescue beyond any expectation! I can't say enough about our host's extraordinary kindness and concern, there is truly no one like him! And the property was beautiful and very well cared for. Immaculately clean! The river is beautiful and we appreciated the chairs by the river and the provided tubes for a float down the river."

"This is one of the best places we haver stayed. It was really clean and decorated so nicely. The kitchen was stocked amazingly for all those little items you forgot or just realized you needed. The porch was a favorite place to sit in the evenings and relax. I cannot rate this place high enough. We will definitely staying here again."
