we had a great stay at firefly Lodge for Thanksgiving! The location was close to all the hikes and a short walk to see the river. We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub, and the hangout room. The house in three bedrooms were super clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed!

My fiance and I loved the location of the house, the property is very nice with multiple things to do on the property such as a game room, fire pit, and hot tub. The WiFi was fast. A friend and I stayed two nights in early November, looking for a quiet getaway from DC. There is a beautiful view from the deck. It was very peaceful and quiet, which is what we needed. We brought food to cook and the kitchen had the supplies we needed. The home was very clean. The owners were very responsive when needed.

Kid and dog friendly retreat near Luray and Shenandoah

Has everything you need for a cozy getaway surrounded by Shenandoah valley beauty. Kid friendly with two toy chests filled with toys and games to play with, plastic plates in addition to ceramic in the kitchen, travel crib in the closet, and a fold away twin cot too! We brought our family dog, who enjoyed the large back yard, and fenced in area. It was nice to use the firepit in the fenced in area, so the dogs could hang without worrying about them wandering too far at night. Host provided treats such as smores fixings and snacky foods, butter was in the fridge, and spices and cooking essentials were available. Host was extremely responsive, fast wifi connection, and enjoyable hot tub. Highly recommend.

Perfect Christmas Getaway with Family

This charming property and amazing host enabled my vision of our Christmas surprise getaway to happen. Santa brought suitcases for our four kids (boys 5, 10, and 12, and our 18 yr old girl who is also a Hokie, Go VT!) and a note that said get packed for a hiking trip! We checked in Christmas evening driving from Dover AFB in Delaware. Everything was a breeze, the house is stunning. So clean, every amenity, and GORGEOUS views of the blue ridge right outside. We were so close to hiking trails and peaked Mary’s Rock our first day. Then enjoyed Luray Caverns the next day. But our favorite was just enjoying family time playing board games by the fire and going in the hot tub at the property. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!!! Thank you so much Lauren! Wonderful Mountain Getaway!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights with our dog and had the best time. The house is in a great spot - easy to get to, private, and near Shenandoah National Park and other state parks and activities. We spent our days hiking, and when we got back to the house we would relax in the hot tub and soothe our aching muscles. We also ended our nights with a fire, and even with a glowing fire we could still see the stars. The house was more than enough space for two adults and a dog, and could definitely accommodate more than two people. The two showers was a big help for us because we both showered every morning and then again when we got back before we got in the hot tub, so this was a big time saver. The house is extremely clean but also cozy and inviting. The dog bed was a nice welcoming touch! We needed this week away before the busy holiday rush, and it was perfect. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful visit while staying at this house. The outdoor spaces are fantastic and the hot tub is just what we needed after driving for hours. Inside, we had some meals in the well supplied kitchen, played some of the provided games and enjoyed the TV. All in all, we had a great time here.

This adorable cabin exceeded our expectations! The views overlooking the Shenandoah Valley were spectacular! The cabin was clean and it had all the amenities that we were looking for. Kitchen had everything for cooking. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub was perfect for our chilly November getaway. The cabin was so peaceful and it was so nice to see all the stars at night.Our host, Lauren, was extremely responsive. If you book this cabin, make sure you follow her instructions on how to get to the cabin.
