"Nice cabin with good layout and excellent location, close to everything in Luray. The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the chairs in the basement were a nice touch. My one complaint is the kitchen: there weren’t many items to cook or bake with, and the ones there were older, scratched and rusty. The river was also fairly hard to access—we didn’t end up using the kayaks we brought because we didn’t think we could get them down and back. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!"

"The property itself is PERFECT for a couples getaway or a solo vacation. I truly enjoyed the time to relax & reset. My only issue when booking with VRBO you don't realize some of the "normal" things you find in rental properties were not there until you get there. I've booked with rental properties and there has always been seasonings left in the kitchen (at least salt & pepper). The only other issues is the cleaning requirements....sweeping & mopping the floor definitely was a bit much since...

"We had a great time spending a long holiday weekend here. It was relaxing and peaceful and perfect for what we needed. However I would say the place needs some work and the owner should put some money back into it. The directv barely works and the internet is non existent but we made due without it. I was initially concerned about this cabin's location, but it turned out to be just as beautiful a view as the mountain cabin, and was much more conveniently located to Luray and was still close to the National Park.
