Small room with un inviting chairs, facing the Grand Hotel across the alley and some thumping noise from the bar’s music below made hanging in the room or getting early sleep more of a challenge. "This was a wonderful stay for us! It was such a great experience to be able to stay in the historic Gamla Stan of Stockholm. The staff was not onsite when we checked in, but the instructions were very clear (in English) for us to check in on our own. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Being a building from 1607, I will point out that there are spiral stairs to the room. I personally think all of the modifications to make such a historic building work for modern hotel...
