STF @ Chapman is a wonderful place to stay. The location is amazing, with views to Old Town and easy walking to all the major attractions. Breakfast is basic, but very affordable and does the job. We had a family room with private bathroom and it was very spacious and clean.

Amazing experience. Beautiful room with view on to Gamla Stan and the beautiful ship Chapman. Central base for sightseeing. Kids loved it too and felt very safe for them. We will be back.

Loved it!

Great to stay on the Chapman. It was so peaceful for a city centre kids loved being on deck and in the hammocks. Cannot fault the staff, so helpful with our constant questions!

The facilities were excellent, except for our windows, which did not have the hardware to be left open. The staff were great and tried to help, but it wasn't rectified prior to our departure. Either way, that was the worst of it, so we had a wonderful experience staying here overall.

One of the best hostels I´ve visited

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at - probably the best! The staff was very friendly, the location was picture-perfect, the facilities were excellent and well-maintained and all the needs of a traveller were being met. The kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast room was exceptionally comfortable, the beds and linen were of good quality and bathroom was always clean even though the hostel was fully-booked. The only minor minus is the noise at night: located by the water right by the city center means that all the noise of the city comes in. So remember your ear plugs and you´ll be fine! :)

The best thing about this property is the location, which is what we really wanted, at an affordable price. We liked being close to the city, on the water, with an old sailing ship out the front and a great view of the old town Gamla Stan. It was absolutely perfect for the New Years Eve fireworks. We chose a 4-bed room for our family of 3 so we could have a room to ourselves in a place that is more like a backpackers. The toilet on our floor was broken, so we had to go down to lower floors, which was no big deal and I expect it's fixed by now. If you consider the phrase, "You only get what you pay for", then this place is pretty good - for the price. We are used to real hotels but Stockholm is very expensive so happy to settle for a lower standard at the same price we'd pay for a decent hotel in other countries. Most importantly it was clean, comfortable, great location, nice staff, and a fair price.

This property was perfect for me a solo, female traveler. It was very clean and the staff was very accommodating in helping me add an extra day to my visit. The location is perfect and in the center of everything without feeling too much like you’re in the thick of it. Being on the waterfront, you’re greeted by birdsong in the mornings and the walkability factor is fantastic. It’s also only a few minutes from the bus stop and is relatively flat so it was easy for me to manage my baggage (the largest one I didn’t need ready access to, I was able to store in their luggage storage with no problem.) I also used the laundry while I was there which worked well if a little confusing at first (you pay in advance at the front desk and then they give you a key and a token to the laundry room/machine where they provide powder laundry detergent for your use). The WiFi also worked well which was great for work on my laptop and to help me from having to use international cellular roaming while I was there.
