This property is so clise to the city centre, no need for driving. The room was a good size a d nice and clean.

The accomodations here were good. No better, no worse. The location is a 15 min walk to the action in town. The room was clean but pretty rundown. The fitted sheets on the bed were rioped around the elastic and there were some pretty sketchy outlets throughout. It worked for a quick place to crash but I would not go back for anything more than that.

I appreciated that the instructions for self check in was clear and easy to follow. The property, although old, was clean. It’s close to downtown Reykjavik and about a 10-15 minute to the BSI terminal to take the Fly Bus. It was easy to walk a few minutes to find food/grocery.

Wonderful stay, we utilized the shared kitchen and laundry room areas, they were clean and well kept. We had an emergency for which we had to contact the guesthouse manager, Ingi, at 12AM, and he picked up and helped us. Overall, staff was amazing and place was very neat, would stay here again!

Great bonuses

A basic but comfortable place to stay, offering some great bonuses like breakfast for a small extra charge, free tea and expresso type coffee all day, a kitchen area, and keypad controlled entry so no keys to loose. The toilet and showers are shared by I never had to wait to use them. Location is very convenient for both bus stations, and still only 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. Rooms are supplied with tv, duvet, blanket, pillow, sink and towels.

Because we arrived late, had excursions and departed the last day early, had no interaction with staff. However, the access instructions were clear. Guesthouse is a 10 minute walk to the BSL bus terminal. Single room was clean, small but practical. The bathroom outside needs to updated a bit. Overal, it served my pourposes.

We paid $160 with private bathroom, which is not cheap, the interior is clean and decent but lacking of amenities such as no hanger, closet or space for you to put out luggages. No shampoo, shower gel. It earned extra star for commute laundry and close to downtown. Exterior is looking beat up real bad, and Parking is on the street not on site which security is concerned. If you don’t mind these condition for a convenient location close to town, but we wouldn’t want to stay her again. There are some cheaper rooms with share bathroom which more like hostel than hotel.

Great value!

Great stay! Quiet, clean, comfortable. Easy to reach by foot from city center, BSI (bus terminal) and for bus stop no. 55 from and to airport. Coffee and tea for guests, shared kitchen/fridge and breakfast available for 5€.
