Beautiful hotel room, heat and hot water was ALWAYS hot which is a savior when it’s cold out. Front desk staff were so friendly and able to help book every day trip and answer any general questions. Hotel’s location is a 3 minute walk to the downtown making it ideal for pick up, close to food and shopping
 yet far enough away from the night time noise. Breakfast at the hotel came in quite handy opening far before any restaurants or coffee shops in town, it was simple and had a lot of variety. Also, Close to the grocery store two blocks away (bonus) for snacks and drinks. They have a locked baggage closet/room for your belongings if you arrive earlier than check in, or for your departure day. I have not one complaint! Hotel Klettur exceeded all expectations and I highly recommend staying there

The location of the hotel is convenient n walkable to Reykjavik town. Flybus from airport stops outside the hotel. The included breakfast has lots of selection n yummy.

Another great stay

This is our second time staying at Hotel Klettur, and once again, we loved it. Its proximity to great restaurants and shopping is second to none, and the property is run very professionally. The breakfast is fantastic, and the room was extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 3 nights but on each occasion it was only for a few hours between tours. The staff on reception were friendly and efficient. They kindly took delivery of my suitcase which arrived while I was away and had it ready on reception when I arrived to check-in. All 3 rooms I had were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of options. The left luggage room was great as it meant I could leave some of my luggage at the hotel when I was away on a tour. I would definitely stay here again.
