A beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable apartment, warm and welcoming and the perfect place to spend two nights at the end of a long trip. Steps from everything you’ll need — groceries, restaurants, shopping, nightlife. Responsive customer service. And the private hot tub was totally worth it. If we’re in Reykjavik we’ll definitely stay here again.

The small studio was very clean. We did not understand how to get into the inside doors but watched a YouTube video and were then successful! We were very central round the corner from rainbow street with bars and restaurants nearby. Supermarket next door. Near to tour bus stops for pickups. 16-20 min walk from BSI bus station. Kettle toaster and hob and equipment but no oven or microwave. Lovely bed and shower. Would recommend.

The room was stuffy when the blackout curtains were used. It was a noisy area since the bars are open much later than we have been used to and the people love to drink and sing in the streets. Great location for walking!

Excellent hotel. Grocery store on ground floor walkable to everything. Place was spotless and quiet. Will definitely stay again next time in Reykjavík. Highly recommend.

My stay at ALVA Apartments Hallveigarstigur was absolutely amazing. The apartment was spotless, modern, and fully equipped with everything I needed from a full kitchen to comfortable bedding and blackout curtains that made for perfect rest. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to downtown attractions, restaurants, and shops. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Reykjavik!

This property was more affordable than any hotel nearby and was far superior. It was very well furnished, very clean, large bathroom, laundry on site, and full kitchen.

Location is fantastic and the apartment is really beautiful and comfortable. The bed is so comfortable and we slept so well, bathroom is spacious and the shower is so big, we only stayed 1 night but would have love to stay longer. Would highly recommend staying here and especially if you want to explore around downtown cause it’s prime location

Very cute place. I would def stay here again. There was some construction early in the morning but other than that no issues. There was a grocery store next door with was helpful. Stores were in working distance. My only complaint would be a general thing in Iceland which was parking was hard to find during the day and it was $15 every 3 hours.

Highly recommend. I enjoyed my time at this property. It was well suited for 2 adults and 2 small children. It was right around the corner from the Main Street in downtown Iceland. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants and very centrally located to get to different activities in a short amount of time. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Really nice room, both bed and pullout sofa were very comfortable, and the location was perfect. I had emailed ahead about parking and got a prompt and detailed response. Also received detailed entry instructions so that was smooth and very easy!

This was a perfect location to enjoy Reykjavik by foot. Literally on top of a grocery store, and a short walk from an endless number of restaurants and bars. We got to enjoy three nights here as we reset after doing the Ring Road, and the extra room was appreciated as we repacked for the flight home. Parking was easy in the neighborhood, and if you go a block further away, you can save a ton by parking in zone 2.

I loved the safety features of the property. Every door had a code to enter. I appreciated the elevator that was available. There was a grocery store right next door and many of local restaurants and tourist attractions were near by and within walking distance. The only bummer was parking, but that's an issue all over Reykjavik. Good thing is parking is free from 9pm-9am, so if you plan a fun filled day you could potentially avoid paying for parking. My only recommendation is maybe having a laundry area and more bathroom towels readily available. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great Property! Right next door to the Kronan Grocery store, which is perfect. Walking distance to everything. Comfy beds. Amazing balcony. Nice hot tub. Kitchen has lots and pans, plenty of dishes and cups, glasses etc. washer dryer was a nice bonus. I would definitely give this place a look.

There were 3 locks to enter our apartment. We felt very safe inside and the neighborhood was also safe. Places to eat were close and easy walk. Plus just a few blocks to airport drop off and also to get to the hop on hop off bus stop. No views but it was still a nice place.
