"The location is so wonderful! It’s far away enough from downtown that cars don’t bother you, yet close enough to quickly go anywhere you might want. The decoration of the rooms is pretty, and the owners were absolutely amazing! Bugs can sneak in under the door, but not horribly. And I never figured out the shower… could be a me thing. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming property. The reception and bar/restaurant teams were unfailingly courteous and attentive. The tasteful design and inviting atmosphere instantly make you feel at home and encourage a sense of relaxation. Conveniently located near the town center, it offers the perfect balance—close enough for a somewhat short hike, yet tucked away enough to feel removed from the bustle (such as it is in this quiet hillside town). The short walk to the center is scenic, though a touch steep. An added delight is the afternoon happy hour at the bar—a thoughtful detail that rounds out the experience beautifully. It wasn’t an issue for me at the time of the year that I visited, but some rooms don’t have air conditioning and it could be an issue during warm/hot days. "

"My family of 4 had such an incredible time hanging out in the heated pool at the home with the spectacular views overlooking the Monteverde Cloud Forest, that it was tough to find inspiration to leave the property to go do other things. The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you might need. Also pretty rare to find a two bedroom with two king sized beds. The beds are extremely comfortable and we slept soundly. There are automated black out shades too. My sons enjoyed laying in the second story hammock as well. From the infinity pool we saw two Capybaras pass through the yard, tons of birds (many hummingbirds). The downtown of Monteverde which has all kinds of neat shops and wonderful restaurants is 2-3 minutes from the house as well. You could probably even walk to it, although we drove each time. The owner maintained great communication before, during and after the stay. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone."
