The hotel is located on the outskirts of Rennes, close to the university. It was very quiet when I stayed there and it has a car park in the front. The room was nice, staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitively recommend this hotel if you have a car. The hotel did not have an elevator however it only has two floors.

Le Florin was a very well priced and comfortable hotel, directly across the road from the main railway station, so is perfect for a budget-conscious stopover in Rennes, if travelling by rail.
The room was small and basic, but clean, serviced, and practical. I always miss having a refrigerator in hotel rooms, but this is common in this part of the world.
