"If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. "My two sons and their families, my husband and myself stayed at the Clear Lake Cottages and Marina for a few days. This place is amazing especially if you're into fishing, relaxing by the pool, swimming, kayaking, and barbecuing. The rooms are really nice and clean and have everything necessary for a wonderful vacation. I think it must be the nicest place in Clear Lake. Why camp? We will definitely stay her again. Jen, the office manager is as sweet as can be and very helpful and knowledgeable. And don't forget to say, "Hi" to Jimmy, her cute little dog."
