"The hotel itself was decent, and the location was convenient, but my experience with customer service left me disappointed. Check-in was listed as 3:00 p.m., yet I had to wait over an hour for my room, which cut into the limited time I had to enjoy the beach before it closed. What frustrated me most was the inconsistency. Although the hotel delayed my check-in, the next morning staff would not provide a beach pass even a little before the strict 8:00 a.m. time, despite the fact that I was leaving for the airport that morning. A little flexibility and courtesy would have gone a long way. Overall, the stay was okay, but the experience could have been much better with more consideration for guests’ time and better customer service."

"The property is about to close down on June 1 for much needed renovations. Probably should not be open at this stage. We just stayed between May 9-16 and roof work had already started which woke us early each morning with the noise. The carpets smell strongly of wet dog probably from flooding after the 2025 hurricane. For the amount we paid to stay, it was highly disappointing and we requested to cut the trip short for partial refund which was not approved. We’ve stayed at many Iberostars and have loved them. This was by far the least impressive experience. Very disappointing. Staff are very nice but can only do so much with the facility as it is. Lobby bartenders were spotty with service."

"We recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites and overall had a good experience. The location was convenient, the room was clean and well maintained, and the pool area was also very clean and enjoyable throughout the stay. Staff were friendly and the resort itself was kept in good condition. The main downside for us was the food. There were decent options, but after a few days it felt pretty repetitive and we were hoping for a bit more variety. The beach was also smaller than expected. Going in, I had pictured a larger beachfront area, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a good resort and we enjoyed our stay. That said, I’m not sure I would return specifically to this part of Jamaica as I think I’d try another area next time."

"Resort was very beautiful and lively I had more food and drinks than I could ever have needed. Staff very nice and friendly. The only thing I did not like was the small, basic room that my boyfriend and I had. We paid a lot of money for a standard room."
