Large family country house in Rascafría,1 h from Madrid, 12 to 24 people

The renting cost depends on the number of people who will sleep in the house, so please indicate it precisely before you book.
On the other hand, our neighbours like to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings, so we ask our tenants not to make too much noise during the day, especially by avoiding loud music, and we ask them to keep noise to a minimum after 10.30 pm.
In any case, the house is large enough to hold an event indoors or on the large covered and enclosed terrace without disturbing the neighbours.
Smoking is prohibited in any room of the house.




The house is very spacious and is within walking distance of the centre of the village of Rascafría, 1 hour from Madrid.
The main floor can accommodate 12 people in its 4 bedrooms and 2 more people in two extra beds in the office.
If you are more than 14 people, it is also possible to put at your disposal the attic which can accommodate 10 more people.
The attic is composed of 2 very spacious rooms with 2 single beds and 1 double bed and 1 modular sofa-bed each.

On the ground floor of the house, which is completely independent from the rented part, live the caretakers of the house, whom you will not see except when they give you the keys and take them back.
Exceptionally, we can make this ground floor available to you, which can accommodate 8 additional people, but only if there is a minimum of 30 people registered through Vrbo.
The ground floor is accessible for people with reduced mobility and can accommodate 6 people in its 3 bedrooms with double beds and 2 more on the sofa bed in the living room.

In fact, the house can accommodate up to 30 people in total, and 36 in spring, autumn and summer thanks to the adjoining yurt tent.

The house has a large garden with an oven/barbecue and a large terrace with mountain views.
Its facilities and privileged environment will make your stay very pleasant at any time of the year.
The kitchen is spacious and open to the living room and the terrace, allowing everyone to participate in the preparation of the meal or the barbecue. Each floor has its own kitchen.

The living room on the main floor is very spacious, with 4 comfortable sofas facing a large fireplace and a big screen TV to enjoy a good movie with family or friends.
All floors have a fireplace and television.

The main floor has 2 bathrooms, one of which has a jacuzzi, and the other floors each have a bathroom with shower.

The glass enclosure with glass curtains on the terrace allows you to enjoy a large games area with table tennis, table football and a pinball machine all year round. Another separate enclosure allows those who prefer to enjoy a good book or a nice nap in the hammock or on the sofas.

Local attractions:
Less than 5 minutes walk away is the centre of the village, with its bars and restaurants that will delight the most discerning palates.
The ecological interest of the area, located in the heart of the Guadarrama Natural Park, is well known: hiking, mushroom picking, canoeing in the nearby Pinilla lake, cycle touring, horse riding or snowshoeing in winter are some of the attractions of this place of unique beauty, less than half an hour from the ski slopes.
The monastery of El Paular is another place of singular interest, well worth discovering or revisiting after its recent refurbishment.

12 bicycles available, with helmets, lights and corresponding compulsory waistcoats.
All beds are provided with bed linen and there is one large towel per person.
The kitchen on the main floor has a gas barbecue and a paella pan for 6 to 30 people. It has everything you need for cooking and has a dishwasher.
The bathrooms all have hand soap, shower gel and shampoo.
The house is about 5 minutes walk from the municipal sports centre, which has a basketball and football pitch, as well as 2 tennis courts and 2 paddle tennis courts.
We organise mycological outings on request during the mushroom season (spring and autumn).

The Yurt type tent is free to use during the day, so that children and adults can play in it.
If you want to use it for sleeping, it is designed for children and adults and has 6 places with mattresses and bed linen.
It costs 180 € per night from April to September and 240 € per night from October to March because we heat the tent with underfloor heating.
If you decide to rent it, the tent is equipped with a hot water shower as well as a WC at the entrance.
