"This could be a very good property with some work. The listing includes parking. This is misleading as it is on street parking. This area is permit holders only. You can park for 2 hours Mondays to Saturdays 8-6. If you check in at 3pm like we did you have to move your car at 5pm. Parking was quite limited and therefore a walk to the apartment. When we arrived at 3pm the apartment was 12c. We clicked the thermostat by the bathroom. When we returned at 6pm the apartment was 14c. The radiators never worked or heated. The bathroom floor appeared warm. By the time we left the next day it had reached 17c. Thankfully it wasn’t cold outside so this wasn’t terrible but the heating definitely needs attention. We were 5 people as per booking and correspondence with the host. The 5th person had to use the sofa bed but only a sheet was provided. No duvet. We used thin blanket off the bed but she was cold particularly due to the heating issues. Bathroom sink leaks when used from the u bend. Creates large pool on floor which has been going for a while as there was damage to the flooring. Mold on wall behind sink as a result. The property has great potential but needs attention. "

"Its a nice hotel and one of the best deals for families, one of the best breakfast options I have seen (though it's paid for adults), it's a bargain at only 12£ and let's kids eat free with a paying adult."

"The buts are well documented by previous guests. Kitchen needed a good clean, utility room very untidy, whole house due an update and could be stunning. We had ants in the kitchen and even in the dishwasher which meant we were washing up constantly and couldn’t leave food out in over half the kitchen. The owner knows this problem occurs. We did have a great stay, pool was lovely and warm, convenient showers close by, garden very pleasant, parking easy and quiet location. Loved our time but if I got my hands on this house I would really enjoy upgrading it. "

"The owner phoned not long after we checked in to make sure we had got into the property okay and to see if we had any queries. I appreciated the contact and he had also left fruit, as well as bottled water, spreads and cheese in the fridge. The apartment is comfortable with a great bathroom and good kitchen facilities. It is just over a twenty minute walk to Rochester high street. Although it states it is a two bedroom apartment the second bedroom is not available to anyone renting the apartment which doesn’t detract from it being a very good place to stay whilst exploring the area. "
