"What a great place to use as home base while exploring Taipo! Rooms overlooking the lake, sunsets from the balcony, easy access to the town, and a top-notch restaurant on-site make this an amazing choice for any traveler. The entire staff was efficient and friendly -- Kim at the front desk was a stand-out. "

"We loved the location in Taupo, the thermal baths, the views! The owner was exceptionally nice and provided lots of helpful information. It was also well equipped for us to be self-sufficient while seeing all of the sights in the area."

"The sauna was great, the spa grotto was a bit strange, situated inside a cave like room. We didn't stay long there. Even though the main pool was an unusually hot temperature, because it was outside, it was pleasant enough."

"Room was clean, didn't use the aircon, tried the iron in the room, however it had some sticky residue on it, therefore not useable as it would have stuck to the item I was trying to iron."

"The rooms were large and clean. It was good to be able to drive the van to the door of our accommodation as we were a group of seniors. Had a nice dinner at the Hilton Bistro Lago restaurant which was next door. Didn't have time to go to the pools."

"Conveniently placed to town and right on lake front. My room was looking a little tired and the shower tray needs a good clean around the edges"
