"This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. The address for the hotel belongs to a different hotel at the time did not have any vacancies so me and my dad who is 75 were left out until 11 o’clock at night looking for a place to sleep. "Staff was terrific. Travelers got separated and staff here helped both parties. The one who hiked got caring aid - food, information about other travelers options, offers to help with communication. The one who did not hike got excellent information on how to meet up in another town on the following day. Staff kept in touch after. Food was abundant and delicious."

"Enjoyed a family stay with two rooms (1 with 2 twins and one suite). The suite had excellent balcony and functional hot tub with salts provided. Staff were excellent. Property manager Alcedis and his front office manager Maria were both very helpful, knowledgeable and service oriented. Maria accommodated my request for additional coffee, and frequently checked in on how the stay was going. Alcedis gave us the option of late check out for one room due to hotel not being completely full and even walked my husband to ticket station, waited for him and made sure he got the correct bus tickets. Excellent staff and great value for this property. I would stay here again as a family or couple."
