Upon checking in, staff was super friendly! We used the pool which was a great feature of the hotel. Some reviews were mentioning breakfast in bags, but there is an actual dining room where they have coffee, hard boiled eggs, bread, cheese and juice in the morning. It did the job. Location is okay - we knew we were not in Old Quebec but quite easy to get there. Our room was in the basement. It was clean but there was a musty smell. Unfortunately our last night got ruined by the A/C unit that started leaking. It sounded like it was raining in the room. The carpet was soaked, some of our belingings got wet and water was leaking into the floor heater, making a crackling noise. Couldn't sleep at all and we knew the hotel was fully booked so there was no point in trying to be moved to another room. We told 2 different staff in the early morning but they only said they will leave a note in our account for their manager. We shall see if we hear back and if they try to make it right.

You get free parking for a hotel located downtown québec city!! That's was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast has to be improved with more options.

The clerk was not very clear with her instructions with our payments. We found it very confusing at the time. The rooms were not very clean at all. There was dust flying off of the curtains when we closed them. The floors were not very clean either, a lot of dust on the floor. The coffee machine was not cleaned, when we went to use it, there was dirt inside of it. We had to wash it. The employees were otherwise nice and accommodating.
