A great little getaway

There was a mixup with our booking but the hotel manager was able to accommodate with no extra costs or fuss. The complimentary home cooked breakfast is excellent! A no frills hotel that is adequate for a good night's sleep. Free drinking water also provided, which is a bonus. You can hear the noise from the street at night, but it wasn't enough to bother us.

The owners/mangers couldn’t have been more accommodating!! A pleasure to stay, it was like being at their home. Great Breakfasts !! Clean rooms good air conditioning! Close to all of the venues we were in town to see. We only needed basic accommodations and we were more than pleased!

Loved the breakfast in the morning. Location is great because it is not right in the center while still being walkable. There are also many options on the street itself. Right next to the beach. The staff are fantastic and keep the facilities spotless. Would stay again.

My stay at the Diamante Hotel was exceptional! This boutique hotel is centrally located in Sayulita, recently refurbished, spotless, comfortable, and charming. Felipe and staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. A high point was the hot breakfast, prepared fresh each morning by Felipe: fresh juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit, and an egg/pozole dish. A very welcome amenity was the swimming pool. I had a wonderful stay here, and hope to visit again soon!

Great stay!

Veey good stay and the staff were lovely and warm-hearted! Definitely would recommend. Location is perfect, beach very close and just a 5 min walk to town centre, which was more busy.

Highly recommend this hotel. Central to the downtown and beach within a five minute walking distance, very clean room, wonderful staff, and excellent value for your dollar. We just wanted a clean room with air conditioning, hot water, and very quiet … and absolutely no bugs to be found here (unlike the other hotels nearby). Photos don’t do this hotel any justice, and was so much nicer to see in person. I’d come here again in a heartbeat. They offer a very simple free breakfast, but if you want a fantastic place for breakfast that’s healthy, try Anchor Cafe in the downtown core.

This is a surfers town heaven the hotel has that appeal kind of hippiesh you have to do everything on your own they don't really have a profesional team it's run by a hard working family and that's respectable. we did not used the pool with is very small but does not look that appealing haha! We where there to sleep for a couple days the rooms are kept clean and the beds are confortable. they do offered free breakfast which we did not try. Over all this is a budget hotel don't expect more.

A small family owned hotel. They try hard but the hotel is old and very dated. We booked a room with a queen bed and a TV etc. but were given a very small room with no TV. We were in a room backing on to the street. The street noise carried on until 3am. Fortunately we did not pay in advance. We checked out and moved on. Expedia and the hotel agreed on charging for two nights even though we were booked for 14 nights. We only stayed the one night. Thank goodness we did not pay in advance.

This felt like a very authentic Mexican experience in the best way possible. The staff are very kind and helpful. Even though they speak little English, they still find ways to communicate what you need to know. The breakfast was made fresh every morning and usually includes eggs, beans, and another Mexican such as tortilla chips in chili sauce. There was also fresh juice, coffee, and bananas. The room was clean and comfortable. The soundproofing is not great here, so we used white noise overnight to avoid hearing the parties downtown or the birds in the morning. The pool was always really clean and fresh. We enjoyed reading in the pool chairs during the hot afternoons as a siesta. The location was great! One block away from the quieter part of the beach and very easy to get into town. It was also an easy walk to the bus station. I wish I spoke more Spanish as I would have liked to know the staff better, but I would definitely recommend this charming little hotel.

El ambiente del hotel es muy tranquilo, los desayunos caseros ricos y suficientes, estuvimos 2 noches y estuvimos a gusto, el unico detalle es quizás la presión de agua en los baños, pero fuera de eso las instalaciones son adecuadas ya que se ve que se ha estado remodelando recientemente.
